I worked for 21 years in assembly, then I worked for 1 year as a storekeeper, and for two and a half years I have been working in the assembly area.

My main missions are to manage the workshop and lead the PSS team. I also produce parts using turning-milling and various other missions.

Material flow production agent and lure fishing enthusiast, explains his professional career before arriving at NORCAN:
I did a BTS in commercial unit management, but I realized that sales was not for me. I then applied for a restaurant job after learning on the job for two years in a chain. I then worked for 7 and a half years in gourmet restaurants in France and New Caledonia, then I chose to retrain for personal reasons. So I did internships through employment centers which allowed me to be the manager of a wine and spirits store in Marseille. When I returned to Alsace, I started as a temporary worker in the factory before arriving as a temporary worker at NORCAN cutting profiles, then I was trained as an operator on drill presses, a position I currently hold. on permanent contract since December 2021.

I have gained 5 years of experience at NORCAN, we work with a clear and defined schedule every day, we prepare orders for customers based throughout Europe. During the day, we have several tasks to do with organization: preparation, inventory, stock storage, closing orders, then heading to the assembly area.

Business manager and self-taught guitarist for ten years, tells us about what he likes about his job:
What I like about my job is the diversity of the businesses, basically they are similar but are all different. I like to look for solutions to meet customer requests. Privately, I have been a member of a music group since 2019. It’s a different way of expressing yourself, and it stimulates creativity. When I'm on stage I give my all, and I try to ensure that the audience has a good time.

Product engineer (at BTI) and gardener in his spare time, tells us about his career:
I always wanted to work in product design. After a scientific baccalaureate, I headed towards a DUT in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Discovering the world of industry with its methodology and processes made me want to continue and join an engineering school. After a first professional experience, I joined Norcan within the brand new BTI (Technical and Innovation Office). At BTI I am responsible for developing new solutions for the Norcan range. My objective is to design and integrate these products in a sustainable manner by taking into account each stage of the product life cycle.

Head of the German unit and ex-football player now a supporter, confides in his motivations for coming every morning:
What motivates me is reuniting with the team and taking on new challenges, but also listening to our customers and ensuring that we keep our commitments, in terms of quality, deadlines, prices, especially in troubled situations. and uncertain current. Finally, what motivates me is to find new customers, persuade them to trust us, build their loyalty and thanks to them grow our GmbH subsidiary. In my free time, I like to simply enjoy the sweet things of life, family and friends.
